Renovum Range — Colloids + Microbes

Gaia

Colloids, nutrients and live microbes for richer soil and stronger growth.

Gaia rebuilds the foundation your crop grows from — feeding the soil with colloids, nutrients and live microbes. Best applied at pre-plant or post-prune, when the soil biology has time to establish before the crop calls on it.

What it is, what it does

Overview

Healthy crops start with living soil. Gaia combines colloids, nutrients and live microbes in one application — rebuilding soil structure and biology so every input that follows works harder.

Gaia

Gaia is a revolutionary new class of liquid fertiliser — organic colloids reacted with soluble nutrients and combined with a highly effective anaerobic microbe blend. Together they strengthen natural soil fertility and biology, improving nutrient cycling and availability as well as plant and root growth, even in the most difficult environments.

In the soil, nutrients attach to these organic colloids and arrange into insoluble but plant-available groups — resisting leaching and recharging the soil solution steadily as the plant draws on it, rather than the rapid, leachable spike caused by inorganic fertilisers. In a complete program Gaia is the primary support mechanism for nutrient availability and microbial activity, improving plant response to lower rates of inorganic fertiliser. Best applied at pre-plant or post-prune.

Rates & Guidelines

Fertigation: 50 – 200 L/ha, pre-plant or in the first watering. Use lower rates for crops that respond strongly to nitrogen.

Available: 1000 L IBC.

The science behind it

Formulation · R&D

Soluble fertilisers dump nutrients into the soil solution all at once. The result is a sharp concentration spike the plant can't fully use — most of it leaches past the roots, damaging soil fertility and biology and driving unbalanced growth. Natural soils don't work that way: nutrients bind to organic colloids and arrange into insoluble but plant-available groups, held on the colloid until the plant draws them off, then quietly recharged. Gaia rebuilds that mechanism directly, reacting organic colloids with soluble nutrients and pairing them with a highly effective anaerobic microbe blend that restores the biology driving nutrient cycling. The effect is a steady, buffered supply rather than a flush — and a soil that responds to far lower rates of inorganic fertiliser.

Colloids hold nutrients in insoluble, plant-available groups that resist leaching.

Gaia trial — crop in the field

We used Gaia on our soil blueberries after a hard prune in 2025 and were blown away by the results. Vegetative vigour was markedly increased and the early and total yield absolutely blew away the control blocks on our normal program.

Headline result — Bucca, NSW · 2025 4.2× longer branches

On 'Double One' blueberry, a single 80 L/ha hit of Gaia grew branches 4.21× longer (59 cm vs 14 cm) and 62.5% more numerous (52 vs 32) than the control over six weeks — from one application a year.
