Calcium is critical for cell wall strength, fruit quality and storage life — but conventional calcium forms are notoriously poorly taken up. Renitor's Advanced Ace-X Technology is built to change that.
Renitor is a first-class specialty liquid calcium designed for superior uptake. The unique Ace-X delivery method both feeds calcium to the root-zone and releases formerly insoluble calcium already held in the soil. It is unaffected by cold root temperatures and can lower soil pH over time by burning off bicarbonates.
Built for root-zone application, Renitor also helps ameliorate high sodium levels — improving the structure of heavy clays over time — and is especially useful for high calcium-demanding crops prone to fruit deformities, or any crop planted in overly alkaline or sodic soils. Winter often provides the best uptake benefits over other calcium forms, so Renitor keeps working when conventional options slow down.

◆ Best uptake windowCalcium is one of the hardest nutrients to place. It moves almost entirely in the xylem, carried on the transpiration stream — so it follows water to the leaves, not to the low-transpiration tissues that need it most, like developing fruit. Cold roots, humidity and moisture stress all slow that stream to a crawl, which is why calcium disorders so often appear when uptake is needed most. Renitor's Advanced Ace-X Technology provides calcium in an acetate-based form the plant is fully capable of absorbing even in Winter due to a quirk of calcium acetate being more soluble in cooler than hot water. At the root-zone the same chemistry frees insoluble calcium already bound in the soil, burns off bicarbonates to lower pH over time, and displaces sodium to improve the structure of heavy clays.

Renitor is a ‘must have’ in my crop nutrition tool belt. The Calcium Acetate in the product provides me with a very low nitrogen input calcium source that also facilitates extra calcium release from the soil; especially when combined with a lime. The product is especially useful in maintaining calcium uptake in adverse weather conditions such as very cold or wet weather, there is no recommendation that I make that doesn't use this product.
